The George Michael Collection Auction presents over 150 works from the legendary recording artist’s private collection. The collection represents a unique dialogue between George Michael and his British contemporaries in the visual arts, with highlights including works by Michael Craig-Martin, Tracey Emin, Jake and Dinos Chapman and Matt Collishaw.
In 2019, The Gallery at Windsor will present the most comprehensive exhibition of Michael Craig-Martin’s work in the Unites States to date. Comprising more than 30 paintings, sculptures and prints, the exhibition entitled, Present Sense is the second annual exhibition at Windsor in a three-year collaboration with the Royal Academy of Arts (RA), London.
ArtZuid 2015 is the fourth edition of the biennial sculpture festival in Amsterdam. Curated by Rudi Fuchs of the Stedelijk Museum, the festival will feature 18 'stages' throughout the open spaces of the city. Participating artists will arrange monumental sculptures over the stages.
The exhibition Sleepless: The Bed in History and Contemporary Art focuses on the historical as well as iconographic significance of the depiction of the bed.
